Just to bring you all up to speed on our adoption journey. First Vietnam adoptions have shut down for a while. Hopefully things will pick up again with them soon, for the children that wait for their families there in VN and the families that long for a child from Vietnam.
Next we thought we would switch to a newly opening Nepal program, however did not find that was the right journey for us, due to more uncertainty and the costs involved. Because in case you didn't know we are definately not made of money.
So now to the present, we found out that we would be eligible for China - special needs program and we started the process. We had to fill out a list of special needs that we felt we could handle. This is a very hard thing to do and it takes lots of research, late nights on the internet etc. I don't know what people did during their adoption journeys before the internet!
And for the finale of my post!
We have found a little girl off the shared list and have submitted our LOI!!
I don't want to post pictures or her name until we have our Prior Approval.
But soon you will see, she is the most adorable thing! We love her already.
